  5. Five externals for the Hermes BBS have been upgraded.  They have been updated to reflect the changes in Hermes 2.5.  Below you will find information about obtaining upgrades.

  7. Delete Account- Allows users to delete their own account from the externals menu.  Only marks account as deleted so it is possible to undelete them if necessary.  Nice way to keep the user record to a reasonable size.

  9. Finger - Like the UNIX program of the same name.  Allows users to get information on other users.  Displays a number of stats on users such as when they last logged on and their signature.  Can be customized on a case by case basis to include other information.

  11. Offline - QWK mail generation for Hermes.  Allows users to build mail packets of messages for reading offline with the many QWK mail readers for Macintosh, DOS, Windows and other platforms.

  13. Offline - Knockoff of the classic board game.  Multi-node capable.  Users can play each other over time or in real time.  Each users board is updated as the other moves.  Includes simple messaging system so users can 'talk' while playing.  Cool colors to boot.

Time Fairy - Allows users to request extra time online.  Can be set up to only let users 'bank' time, grant all requests while recording the reason for the request or use a simple 'artificial intelligence' to decide if they get the time.  Also allows users who have run out of time to log on long enough to use the external or send feedback.
